In anticipation of Small Business Saturday on 7th December, I made another stop in Long Buckby to visit Verdes Sandwich shop as part of my commitment to exploring our constituency's vibrant array of independent businesses over the coming weeks.
It was lovely to have met the staff and try their sandwiches with my team, which we very much enjoyed. During my visit, we spoke about many topical issues as well as the importance of having small independent businesses on our high streets which bring so much to the local economy and local character.
