It was insightful to meet local small business leaders and discuss the various challenges derived from the recent Budget, which will place tremendous strain on a sector that needs our support now more than ever.
The passion and resilience shown by our local entrepreneurs was truly inspiring, despite the headwinds they face. From rising operational costs to increased regulatory burdens and National Insurance Contribution increases, it's clear we must do more to protect and nurture our small business sector.
