Last Saturday, I made two visits within the constituency to speak to residents of both Walgrave and Kilsby.
In Walgrave, I attended the public meeting to discuss the proposed Green Hill Solar Farm development.
I know that many constituents in Walgrave and the surrounding areas are concerned about this proposal, and as their Member of Parliament I wanted to join them to listen to and discuss their concerns.
While the proposals are still very much in the early stages, I share many of these concerns about the development and I am doing everything I can to make sure the voices of my constituents are heard.
I will continue to monitor this proposal as Green Hill Solar conducts a consultation, and I will continue to work with all those involved and support my constituents as much as possible.
In Kilsby, I attended the Kilsby Action Group (KAG) meeting to discuss the development of housing. Like Walgrave, I attended to listen to their perspectives.
I understand my constituents in this area are concerned by the impact further development in and around Kilsby could have, and that it does not meet the local neighbourhood plan.
I will endeavour to discuss the views I hear with West Northamptonshire Council.
