It was another busy day in the constituency, starting at Parker E-ACT Academy, where I discussed the role of a Member of Parliament with students. I then held 1:1 appointments with constituents in my office. One of the meetings was with Sarah, a local business owner in the social care sector, who expressed her concerns about the National Insurance increases affecting home care providers.
Some of my other visits today included Welford Windfarm, where residents discussed the impact on the community. I also participated in activities at Mayfield Day Care as part of the Independence for Me, which offers disability support for independent living in Daventry; we hosted a Q&A, including about my favourite meal—Fish and Chips, of course!
This evening, I'm in Ravensthorpe, meeting with residents to discuss the topics that matter most to them. If you are a constituent or have a business in the area and need assistance, please feel free to get in touch at stuart.andrew.mp@parliament.uk
